Who can become a F&L Member?

All industrial, public or private entities or persons, having their registered offices in Europe, who use, manage or organize, on an intensive scale, multimodal freight transport in national and international trafffic, can become members.

• Corporate Members are Company Members having an annual turnover of at least 50 million Euros and incurring at a yearly basis overall expenses for all forms of transport of at least 6 million Euros per year. The following items shall be taken into consideration : ownership or possession of trucks, ownership of active side-tracks, ownership of UTS, containers, swap bodies, semi-trailers or other vehicles fo road haulage.

• Associate Members are Company Members engaged closely in activities related to multimodal freight transport, without fulfilling the specific conditions established for corporate members.

• Honorary Members are persons who help achieve the objectives of F&L, without being subjected to the payment of membership fees.

• Observing Members are Industry Associations that are key contributors to the work of F&L. These members do not have voting rights at the meetings and are not eligible for the Management Committee.
