Objectives

• Contribute to and support the development of logistic services that satisfy the need for a competitive European system in a globalised market

• Contribute to a coherent European transport policy integrating different modalities (rail/road/sea/waterways/air) in order to cope with environmental issues.

• Present and discuss ideas, needs and proposals originating from the “key-actors” of the market across all sectors of the European economy (customers, suppliers, carriers alike)

• Act as an authoritative body able to represent the interests of the overall European transportation system and network and not the specific interest of a single country, category, modality operator.

• Support CER initiatives aiming at building up a new service culture through the evolution and modernisation or the role of the railway companies.
